Briefing to Incoming Ministers November 2023
Tax Justice Aotearoa has issued a Briefing to Incoming Ministers (BIM) as an outline of New Zealand's fiscal challenges - and suggests a number of proposed solutions.
This briefing outlines issues with our current tax system and the societal challenges needing to be addressed.
The briefing outlines the changes TJA would like to see and suggests the incoming Government has room to make some constructive changes within the policy constraints it has set for itself.
Opportunity exists for positive reform in both our domestic tax settings and in the international tax arena.
