How might the articles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi inform the design of our tax system? To answer this question, and think about the future of taxation in these lands, we need to be wary of the history of taxation in these lands. Matthew Scobie explored a brief history of taxation and Te Tiriti before turning to possible principles that might embed Te Tiriti into the tax system.
