Tax Principles and Te Tiriti o Waitangi

In April 2022, Minister Parker announced that a Tax Principles Bill would be drafted. With the prospect of a legislative framework that sets out tax principles for Aotearoa New Zealand, precisely what principles should be included in the Bill and how they are interpreted is now wide open for discussion. Join us at Tax on Tuesdays as we begin to explore the possibilities.

Register now to the second of four talks on Principled Taxation: What Matters Most?

Tax Principles and Te Tiriti o Waitangi, Dr. Matthew Scobie
1:00 – 2:00pm, Tuesday 13 December
Government Buildings Lecture Theatre 3
Pipitea Campus, Victoria University of Wellington.

also available on Zoom
