Tax on Tuesdays: TPS series - Corporate Taxes
Join us for the next session, exploring the proposals outlined in our recently released Tax Policy Statement.
Corporate tax is a crucial part of a fair tax system. It helps fund the public services and infrastructure that businesses rely on, yet some large corporations are able to structure their affairs in ways that reduce the amount of tax they pay in Aotearoa.
This session will explore the role of corporate taxation in New Zealand's economy, the challenges posed by multinational tax avoidance and the reforms that could help ensure large companies contribute their fair share.
